Long week-end in Paris – mum on the run
Paris has been my preferred city for many years and home too many years ago. Pied a terre between 2003 – 2004, got to love it instantly and felt home in a ridiculous short time – 1 month if my memory serves me well.
Nothing like my love affair with London – eventually after 5 years got to terms with it!
I still dream on regular basis about Paris glorious architecture, chic shops, gourmet restaurants and charming people.
It’s been almost 4 years now though have not been to back. And back then I was heavily pregnant – 8 months! To sum up, have not been since the kids arrived. Way too long!
So will be back this week-end – my first trip without the little ones in 3.5 years. Mum on the run for the first time and for a long week-end.
There is excitement about some grown up time, a bit of planning around the newest hype places in Les Marais, some nostalgic lounges that need to be ticked off from my good old 16eme / 8eme neighbourhood, a fabulous birthday party that will attend and quite a bit of anxiety about my 3 lovely boys which will be left home alone.
