We’re going on a bear hunt at Cadogan Hall!

We’re going on a bear hunt! Swishy swashy grass, splishy splashy river, oozy squelchy mud. Oh Oh!

We're going on a bear hunt

A family of 4 and a very musical dog embark on epic outdoors adventures. They go under, above and through it! Funny songs, silly sounds, lots of rhymes, water guns and water splashed around – be warned and ready! A snowstorm, adventures in the forest, more songs and lots of fun, a cave and guess what!! A big brown bear!

Enchanting and engaging, not only for 3/4/5 years olds but parents as well! Weโ€™re NOT scared!

An hour long show is perfect for year 3+ to engage and last relatively seated in the beautiful Cadogan Hall.

2017 Cadogan Hall

My almost 4 years old and I danced, sang and laughed a lot! Our 4 friends who joined us at the show managed to be slightly more restrained (i.e. brought theatre manners rather than party habits) and equally they loved it.

Bear Hunt: Cadogan Hall

Cadogan Hall is very conveniently located at Sloane Square.

Sloane square

Duke of York with its myriad of cute restaurants and boutiques is next door. We picked Comptoir Libanese for lunch and catch up – very successful as kids could run around freely but contained in this cute pedestrian area. Saatchi Gallery is next door for a continuation of the artistic pursuits.

Michael Rosenโ€™s multi award winning book was first published in 1989. WEโ€™RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT will play in 42 venues in the UK and internationally, including Singapore, Bahrain and Australia! And 2018 they are now back in London at the Lyric theatre. We are truly SOLD.

For something more Xmassy but still at Cadogan Hall, check outย The Definitive Rat Pack, a festive and rebellious classic, bringing the party to Sloane Square, drifting us back in time, soaking the glam and bubbles: My way, Got you Under My Skin, Volare and seasonal classics including funky beautiful Silent Night, White Christmas, Winter Wonderland and so much more !

PS: many thanks to ย Kenny Wax Family Entertainment for the complimentary tickets; canโ€™t stay still cheeky monkey mine, impressions & pictures entirely ours.

We’re going on a Bear Hunt was one our favourite books when the boys were small, I can see that it lends itself to performance very well. I wonder if the teens are too old …… thank you for linking up to #CulturedKids

I can see why and as you say it allows so much play, joy and silliness – even me as a grown up loved it! I’d definitely ask the teens about a trip! Pleasure to link and thanks for stopping by!

Freya loves this book and, by the sounds of it, she’d really enjoy the show. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. #CulturedKids
