Odds Farm High Wycombe – top things to do in Beaconsfield

May to October are great months for going round English glorious countryside and Odds Farm High Wycombe made a delightful dayout. A 40 minutes drive from Kensington but miles apart from mad hectic pace, this is a glorious farm and one of the best things to do in Beaconsfield with kids.

The weather was fabulous when we visited, so we spent most of our time outdoors, exploring the vast grounds, riding the tractor, running around and just greeting pigs, sheep, donkeys, goats and so on.

The minigolf was a hit for myself and our 4 years old, bringing me dear childhood memories and frustrating my eldest about his lack of direction. Practice is key, so will be back older and hopefully wiser and more skilled.

The fortress playground was a blast for both 4 years old and toddler; so we chose to have a picnic and bubbles at the tables just in front.

Our toddler had a crush on the Jacob seeps and kept on going back to feed and cuddle them. Regardless of sharp long horns, E just decided they were the cutest and giggled his head off when they licked him. Parents (slightly nervous at the beginning) concluded eventually is relatively fine and definitely reciprocated.

Odds Farm day out

For sunny days, there’s a beautiful sand and water playarea with cute sunchairs; great to sit back and just watch the kiddies discovering tools, diggers and getting very engaged.

But Odds Farm High Wycombe makes a beautiful dayout with kids even on rainy days – there are tones of softplay inside, for various ages and physical abilities. On that occasion we only spent about 15 minutes to the disappointment of my 4 years old.

The bunnies, chicken, goats and sheep are next door and inside and there’s lots of educational sessions for City boys like ours about milking, feeding, cuddling.

Odds Farm Park September and October weekends are fun packed and so inviting, fingers crossed for sunny balmy days! Your favourite things to do in Beaconsfield and around? Keep us posted!
