Polo in the Park 2018 – best days out in London

Polo in the park is one of the best days out in London we tested over the years. A glorious English event that treated us with great games, adrenaline and style, bubbles and class, gorgeous food and entertainment, taking place at the spiritual home of polo – Hurlingham Park.

Polo in the Park

Last year we took the kiddies as well – Sunday is the family day and we all had a blast.  We wrote about in here; in a nutshell lots of friends joined us.  After the pitch invasion and so many fun stations, Lanson tent was our retreat for bubbles, best to observe the games and players and ocassionally pop in a boutique shop or two.

Expect also London’s best restaurant and street food: Claw, Kiru, Bubbledogs, Le Bun, Born & Raised, Pan n Ice to mention just a few. Bars wise also lots of our favourites – Mahiki, Fever Tree Cocktail Garden and even a Pimms Bus.

It must be also one of the most fun things for kids in London, with Sharky and George Pitch Invasion on Sunday 11:30, bouncy castles, obstacle courses and soft play.

Last year endless games kept the kiddies busy: Sharks and Lifeguards, Sharky’s footsteps, musical bumps, face painting and strawberry bootlace eating world champs. A detailed plan for Polo in the Park 2018 epic events for kiddies is  in here.  And right after the kiddies parties wrap up, the Polo Finals start !

We used to live in Teddington so visited a couple of times before kids, but wouldn’t have ever thought about going nowadays with children. It’s great to know that it’s so child friendly! #culturedkids
