Back to Liguria with baby, on this occassion, so here is our take on the most charming places to visit in Liguria Italy and our favourite Rapallo Italy things to do.
Logistics. In a nutshell , house swapped Kensington flat to bigger flat with better weather than London in Rapallo. Well kind of. Left our London flat on great friends hands and changed the decor for 8 days. Very spacious 2 bedroom flat thanks to Airbnb again, gorgeous views over the mountain, Rapallo harbour and Portofino. Best blinds ever, cutest linen for the baby cot, fully furnished kitchen with all the devices you could possibly think of – made our stay with our 7.5 month old baby easy and pleasant.
Flights & transfers: Easy peasy lemon squezy. 2 hours to Genova, by now Raphael is super familiar with the plane and flying. Picked up the rental car Genova airport, in less than 45 minutes we were at the flat in Rapallo. We also drove to Gatwick this time round, paying the parking for 8 days made more sense than using the minicab transfers.
Liguria with baby holidays. Easy going, travelled around & enjoyed the lovely Ligurian coasts, the sun, great Italian food & wines. Our highlights and suggestions for the most charming places to visit in Liguria Italy include:
(i) Camogli – we loved its authenticity & hanged around with our Italian friends by the pebbled beach, charming harbour & little fishing village restaurants. (ii) Portofino – we love its glamour & chic. We hanged around again with our Italian friends by the harbour and had a lovely apero early evening. (iii) Santa Margherita de Liguria – we knew from few years back – charming.
(iv) Rapallo: convenient and beautiful, residential and buzzy.
Have you been? And if not, which one caught your eye?
