Christmas eve started great with cocktails at a cool revamped Queens Skate Dine Bowl.
London’s only permanent ice rink mesmerised me with great martinis, my other half and our 3 years old with ice skating, our 9 months old baby with the friendliest ever personnel, our friends & their little ones with the retro games arcade and table football.
Queens Skate Dine Bowll venue has been around since the 1930s – our friend’s father learnt ice-skating in here!
But the new rink is very slick and all the gear including kids stuff and props are there.
There are also 17 state-of-the-art bowling lanes that we tested on December 31st – great way to wrap up the year in style & fun!
And with some technical support and a bit of help, my son almost ended same score as me 😉
Lunch after ice-skating went down a treat – the eatery from pop-up pro, Jimmy Garcia has some moreish choices.
On the menu: messy burgers, lobster ones, juicy dogs and hot ribs – we picked a yum steak, pulled pork and the kids burger – all parties delighted!
So very glad Queens Skate Dine Bowl re-opened up revamped and with so many alluring choices for us and the kids! Looking forward to going back already !
PS: Ice-skating, bowling, lunch and drinks courtesy of Queens Skate Dine Bowl; impressions, pics and cheeky kids entirely ours.
Looks like a great place to take the kids, hours of entertainment! #CityTripping
It is indeed, we are very looking forward going back – there are even more enhancements since last year! We will report back shortly 😉
My husband used to go there on dates when he was in his teens! We even went back for his birthday one time but haven’t been for years so I hadn’t realised they had overhauled it. Now I know there are martinis as well as skating, I might suggest we relive some memories. Thanks for linking up with #citytripping
Haha Cathy! Yes, their cocktails are superb – help me improve my bowling skills or at least my self perceptions 😉
