First of all, welcome to the very first Zenbabytravel #Culturedkids linky co-hosted by the lovely and fun Megan @ TrulyMadlyKids!
What’s #CulturedKids about? As the name suggests, it’s a cool reunion of cultural articles aimed at children of all ages ( including the big kids !) and where bloggers share news, heads ups, tips and tricks on historic homes, castles, heritage, travel, museums and theatre!
The Ickworth Hotel and National Trust Italianate Gardens
May has been a busy month with lots of celebrations, including my own birthday at the lovely Ickworth hotel and stunning National Trust grounds. We will be also heading back to Sicily this month for more wedding celebrations with dear friends – stay tuned!
And on the topic of the wedding, there’s so much excitement and anticipation brewing over the Royal one! For the final countdown it seems that Harry and Meghan chose the Coworth Park and Cliveden Hotel for the night before. Should you feel inclined like the Royals for zen retreats, history and heritage gardens with…children, check out our articles: Windsor Castle with kids and Coworth park: zen gardens and luxury treats
Cliveden House and National Trust grounds
Are YOU making the most out of England’s brilliant blue skies and balmy weather? 20 degrees Celsius expected in London for the next 3 days, blue skies and most trees still blooming! Spring eventually ended up as a proper treat after this year extended winter. The right time to head to National Trust or English Heritage properties and gardens! London peeps we got it all covered for you: here are the 6 gorgeous heritage gardens within 30 minutes drive and 9 favourites of ours 1 hour away from London, Cliveden House included.
Catherine at @ CulturalWednesdays outlined already the new fortnight format and the extended number of hosts – we are delighted to join them: Megan at @TrulyMadlyKids; Emma at @BavarianSojourn; Scarlett at @ DiariesofaLondoness! Pop over and visit them after you linked up!
Catherine’s favourite posts from last time were Imperial carriages, Colour at the Horniman by Museum Mum and Exploring the SS Great Britain by Go Live Young.
Scarlett at @ DiariesofaLondoness favourite posts from last time were: How to visit the Louvre with kids ; Top tips for travel to Venice and Stepping back into Roman London.
We are looking forward to getting your posts on days out and holidays – historic homes, castles, heritage, history, museums and theatre – though you might rightly reserve the last two for rainier days! I will be also looking on insta, twitter and fb for your posts with #Culturedkids – have a great sunny week-end all!
