Le Mangeoire Ski Club (former Baïes)– Our favourite chic mountain chalet restaurant blending Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes with a stylish wine list. Its terrace is a great stop between runs, and the atmosphere builds as the afternoon progresses.
Le Chalet de Pierres – A Courchevel institution set right on the Verdons piste and next door to Baies, with rustic alpine interiors, panoramic views, hearty Savoyard cuisine and one of the best dessert buffets in the resort. It’s perfect for slow, scenic lunches or relaxed après-ski dining.
Bagatelle Courchevel – The legendary mountain restaurant beloved for Mediterranean-style cuisine, lively atmosphere, music and DJ sets, and a sunny terrace perched high above the slopes. It’s as much a lunch party with wine and views as it is a great meal — perfect after a morning of skiing.
La Folie Douce & La Fruitiere (nearby Meribel or other Trois Vallées areas) — A famed alpine party experience with DJs and performers – ski routes great, just make sure you leave enough time to get back to Courchevel!
Roc Seven – While best known for its location in nearby Les Menuires atop the Roc 1 lift, it remains a must-visit for stunning views and memorable meals on a multi-day 3 Vallées itinerary (part of glorious Fahrenheit 7 Group).
Le Courcheneige – De Laroche Brasserie – A slope-side classic with a lively terrace and mountain views, serving brasserie-style eats — burgers, grilled meats and alpine favourites — ideal for a midday break on the mountain.
Ineos Club House & Restaurant – Our favourite pistes ski with the kids; stylish lunches or dinners with a club-like vibe — great also for a relaxed yet polished meal before the nightlife kicks in.
Cap Horn –the oldest mountain restaurant in Courchevel, established in 1954; dining on slopes with a blend of land and sea cuisine; exceptional wines, and one great, festive party.
Sumosan Courchevel 1850 – A refined Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in the heart of Courchevel 1850. Think elegant sushi, sashimi and contemporary Japanese cuisine — a perfect choice for a sophisticated dinner after skiing.
Some Courchevel restaurants don’t just serve food — they become dance floors as the night goes on.
La Ferme Saint Amour Courchevel – A chic boutique favourite that combines robust French fare with a festive nightlife energy — think music, stylish crowd and evenings that continue late.
La Mangeoire – One of Courchevel’s most iconic dinner-with-dancing spots. Start with a gourmet meal, then settle in as live music or DJs take over and the party grows — expect cocktails, champagne, tables that turn into dance floors and late nights until the early hours.
Django – Courchevel’s legendary jazz club – start with dinner, the piano-bar atmosphere evolves into vibrant nights of house music – we loved it and danced it out till late despite some solid skiing and tired feet!
Après Dinner & Late-Night Vibes: Les Caves de Courchevel – A classic dance club in town after dinner.
L’Apogée Courchevel Restaurants – Several high-end venues in one of Courchevel’s most luxurious hotels, each offering refined French cuisine, elegant settings and impeccable service — ideal for special occasions.
Some more fine dining & classics:
Le 1947 à Cheval Blanc – A top haute cuisine choice (Michelin-level) for gourmets seeking a special night.
K2 Palais and K2 Altitude – loved the fireplace and terrace on the slopes, the afternoon tea and dinners
Le Tremplin and O bout d’la rue — More relaxed, beloved town restaurants for cozy dinners.
Cave des Creux – Rustic alpine with panoramic views, perfect for wine lovers and classic Savoyard dishes.
Book early: Top venues like Bagatelle and La Mangeoire fill up fast in peak winter weeks — early reservations are essential.
Timing for parties: Many restaurants transition from dinner to dancing around 10:30–11:00 PM — plan your alpine après-ski drinks earlier so you can transition smoothly into the night.
Après-ski variety: Courchevel’s nightlife is more polished and luxe than raw party-town atmospheres — but La Mangeoire and venues like La Ferme Saint Amour and Django offer true dinner-to-dance energy.
Whether you’re indulging in a leisurely alpine lunch on a sunny terrace, savouring sushi in the village, or dancing the night away after dinner, Courchevel 1850 offers a world-class mix of gastronomy, views and nightlife energy. From slope-side classics like Baies, La Fruitière, Le Chalet de Pierres and Bagatelle to vibrant nights at La Mangeoire, La Ferme or Django, your culinary adventures will be just as unforgettable as your days on the snow.
