Back to the nature, simplicity and countryside again – Zenbabytravel charges batteries. And here’s to Godstone Farm Surrey and a round up of best childrens farms near London.
Godstone farm Surrey lies between beautiful hills. We started our visit with friends on a late Saturday morning and we found it peaceful and fun.
The playgrounds are vast, hilly and on the immediate vicinity of the cows. The sandpit with the train occupied our 3 kids for a good hour in the afternoon – it has a little slide, lots of toys and tools.
Next there’s a spidernet natural plays area, a chicken run labyrinth that proved a huge success with our boys, a zip line, swings, more slides and rather elaborated nets.
We spent some time talking to and cuddling the donkeys and the ponies; the pigs were impressively huge and with lots of cute piglets.
Two indoor soft play area kept our 3 boys entertained for almost half an hour and thereafter we headed for picnic with bubbles (after a week in Italy impossible to go for a dry lunch!).
The dino trail was fun and noises very realistic. And thereafter we headed back to cuddling bunnies, driving motorcycles and building a den.
There’s also a tractor to be ridden including around the pond, animal feeding sessions and more petting, interacting and observing opportunities: llamas, goats, bunnies, chinchillas, alpacas, chicken, ostriches and their cute babies.
Godstone Farm Surrey
Lots of flowers, plants and glorious Surrey countryside for a delightful Saturday, catching up with friends and kids playing. Godstone Farm Surrey made a wonderful chilled dayout ! Our friends and us also found it sensibly priced, with week-end time at £8.9 per adult and child above 2 years and £3.4 per child above 1 year.
The other suspects for our round up with Godstone Farm Surrey and our favourite childrens farms near London?
2. Willows Activity Farm , we wrote extensively about, the latest article including 1st year anniversary for Peter Rabbit playground in here.
3. Hatfield – one jammed packed with activities, the other next to a gorgeous house, gardens and charming eateries.
Disclaimer: Many thanks to Godstone Farm, Willows Activity Farm, Hatfield House and Odds Beaconsfield for the complimentary tickets. As usual, impressions, pics and excited kids our own .
So close to London and yet it looks like farm parks in the Cotswolds. Looks like you had a lovely day and great weather. #countrykids
Thank you for stopping by, indeed we are very lucky to escape so quickly in the nature from the wonderful but mad London crowds 😉

We are fans of Willow farm, this looks great for little ones #countrykids
It is, not just just little ones, we really liked it as well and find it rather peaceful 😉
so much to do! I love parks. my favourites would be the playgrounds, the wooden train is something my son would go mad for, but I’m into history too so would enjoy the house! #countrykids
The train gave grown ups 1 hour of peace and went down indeed very well with the boys! Warmly recommended!
There looks like lots to do there, can’t beat a farm for some great family fun can you #CountryKids
Indeed Mary! We are looking forward to the week-end and embarking on more countryside adventures 😉 Thanks for stopping by!
