Where did 2018 go?! Time to sort out the last cultural articles for the year and link up: Christmas shows, winter fun, exotic travels, big kids and young kids alike, here’s #CulturedKids #35!
Plenty of challenges this year family wise and professionally, but traveling and culture wise, 2018 has been as fabulous as we wanted. We skied February half term; went round glorious French chateaux hotels March/ April;
indulged into Barcelona cuisine and nightlife in May; partied some more in Sicily and went round boutique hotels on Etna and in Favignana’s caves; explored the English countryside in the summer and even tried wild swimming; escaped for long week-ends to Menorca, had the usual retreat in the Carpatian mountains in August and tested staying in the best of Romanian wineries; celebrated in Copenhagen, discovered Dublin;
fell in love with Oman and went around the Arabian sea shores, the deserts, the majestic mountains;
captured briefly the magic of Brasov Christmas markets; indulged into lots of festive cultural treats in London including the Snowman at the Peacock Theatre, The Huddle at Unicorn and Royal Albert Hall; to wrap up the year back in France with more skiing!
Catherine’s favourite posts from last time was Seeing The Christmas Lights at Bleinhem Palace whilst Emma’s was Meet Santa at the Transport Museum from Mum What Else!
Great post!
Thank you! Have a lovely Xmas break
I want your life..and that gingerbread!! Wild wishes for a happy Christmas
Thank you Lucy! One needs to be careful what they wish for 😉 I love my life and feel blessed most of the time, but it’s also mad, chaotic and stresful at times. The gingerbread wish may be wiser 😉 loving your ‘Wild wishes’ – may borrow it for the next weeks ! You too have a lovely Christmas break and all the best for 2019! X
